ISRO Proba-3 ESA satellite launch delayed to December 5 due to anomaly : भारतीय अंतराळ संशोधन संस्था (Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)) सातत्याने आपल्या अंतराळ मोहिमा राबवत आहे. याचाच एक भाग म्हणून, बुधवारी PSLV-C59 रॉकेट/PROBA-3 मिशन लॉन्च केले जाणार होते. पण, काही तांत्रिक बिघाडामुळे ही योजना पुढे ढकलण्यात आली आहे.
माहितीनुसार, हे मिशन गुरुवारी श्रीहरिकोटातून संध्याकाळी 4:12 वाजता लॉन्च होण्याची अपेक्षा आहे.

'Proba-3' मध्ये आढळलेल्या काही त्रुटींमुळे PSLV-C59 चे प्रक्षेपण पुढे ढकलण्यात आले आहे. यानुसार, प्रोबा-3 अंतराळ यानामध्ये आढळलेल्या त्रुटींमुळे प्रक्षेपण गुरुवारी 4:12 वाजता केले जाईल.
ISRO चे PROBA-3 मिशन हा युरोपमधील अनेक देशांचा भागीदारी प्रकल्प आहे. यामध्ये स्पेन, पोलंड, बेल्जियम, इटली आणि स्वित्झर्लंड या देशांचा समावेश आहे. या मोहिमेची किंमत अंदाजे 200 मिलियन युरो आहे. प्रोबा-3 मिशन सुमारे 2 वर्षे चालणार असून मोहिमेची विशेष बाब म्हणजे या मोहिमेच्या मदतीने अंतराळात 'प्रिसिजन फॉर्मेशन फ्लाइंग'ची चाचणी घेण्याची तयारी सुरू आहे. या मोहिमेअंतर्गत दोन उपग्रह एकत्र अवकाशात उड्डाण करतील.
इस्रोने यापूर्वी दोन प्रोबा मोहिमा सुरू केल्या आहेत. 2001 मध्ये पहिले प्रक्षेपण PROBA-1 चे केले होते , तर दुसरे PROBA-2 मिशन 2009 मध्ये लॉन्च करण्यात आले होते. या दोन्ही मोहिमांमध्ये इस्रोला यश आले आहे.
PROBA-3 मिशन सूर्याच्या कोरोनाचा, म्हणजेच सूर्याच्या वातावरणातील सर्वात बाहेरील आणि सर्वात उष्ण थराचा अभ्यास करेल. सूर्याच्या बाह्य वातावरणाला सूर्याचा कोरोना म्हणतात. ISRO ची व्यावसायिक शाखा NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) या मोहिमेत सहकार्य करत आहे.
A day after the launch of Europe's Proba-3 mission was cancelled, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to attempt the launch og the twin spacecraft again on Thursday.
The lift-off of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C59) is scheduled for 4:12 PM IST. This follows a postponement due to an anomaly detected in the spacecraft shortly before its scheduled launch on December 4.
The Proba-3 mission is a significant collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), marking the first satellite launch between the two agencies since 2001.
The mission aims to demonstrate advanced formation-flying technology with two satellites: the Coronagraph Spacecraft (CSC) and the Occulter Spacecraft (OSC).
These satellites will work in tandem to create artificial solar eclipses, allowing scientists to study the Sun's corona without interference from its bright disk.
