बेळगाव-belgavkar : Airports Authority of India (AAI) संचलित राज्यातील विमानतळांमध्ये हुबळी विमानतळ राज्यात सर्वात फायदेशीर ठरले आहे (भारतीय विमानतळ प्राधिकरण (एएआय) / भारतीय विमानपत्तन प्राधिकरण (एएआई)). २०२३-२४ या आर्थिक वर्षात या विमानतळावरन १९.३७ कोटी रुपये महसुली उत्पन्न मिळाले आहे. बेळगावचे सांबरा विमानतळ १४.९९ कोटी रुपये महसुली उत्पन्नासह दुसऱ्या क्रमांकावर आहे.
केंद्रीय नागरी हवाई वाहतूकमंत्री मुरलीधर मोहोळ (Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation, Government of India) यांनी नुकतीच संसदेत ही माहिती दिली. कर्नाटकात एकूण ९ विमानतळ आहेत. त्यातील बेळगाव, हुबळी, गुलबर्गा व म्हैसूर विमानतळांचे नियंत्रण व देखभाल एएआयकडून केली जाते. त्यात सर्वात फायदेशीर विमानतळाचा मान हुबळीने मिळविला आहे. या विमानतळावरुन २०२३-२४ मध्ये १९.३७ कोटी रुपये महसूल जमाझाला आहे.
गेल्या काही वर्षांत राज्यातील एक महत्त्वाचा विमानतळ म्हणून प्रसिद्धीस आलेल्या सांबरा विमानळाला हुबळीने मागे टाकले आहे. सांबरा विमानतळाने १४.९९ कोटी रुपयांचे महसुली उत्पन्न मिळवून दिले आहे. त्यानंतर म्हैसूर ९.२६ कोटी व गुलबर्गा २.२६ कोटी रुपये असा क्रम आहे.
राज्यातील अन्य ५ विमानतळांमधील बंगळूरचे केंपेगौडा आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळ सार्वजनिक-खासगी भागीदारीतून चालविले जाते. २०२२-२३ मध्ये बंगळूरचा केंपेगौडा विमानतळ ५२८ कोटी रुपये महसुली उत्पन्नासह देशातील सर्वात फायदेशीर विमानतळ ठरले होते.
मंगळूर आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळ प्राधिकरणाने अदानी एअरपोर्ट होल्डिंग्जला लीजवर दिले आहे.
शिमोगा विमानतळ राज्य सरकारच्या अखत्यारित आहे.
बिदर विमानतळ संरक्षण दलाच्या मालकीचे आहे, तर विजयनगर विमानतळ जिंदाल स्टीलच्या मालकीचे आहे.
