South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declares emergency martial law amid political turmoil : दक्षिण कोरियात आणीबाणी जाहीर झाली आहे. राष्ट्रपती युक सुक येओल (South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol) यांनी आणीबाणी जाहीर केली आहे.
उत्तर कोरियातील कम्युनिस्ट शक्तींकडून निर्माण झालेल्या संकटांमुळे आम्ही दक्षिण कोरियाचं रक्षण करु इच्छितो (North Korea's communist forces), त्यामुळेच मी आणीबाणी जाहीर करतो आहोत - South Korean President
यूक सुक येओल यांनी एका टेलिव्हिजन ब्रिफिंगमध्ये हे सांगितलं की, आता आमच्यासमोर मार्शल लॉ चा आधार घेण्यावाचून काहीही उपाय नाही. कशा-कशावर बंदी असेल हे मात्र अद्याप स्पष्ट केलेलं नाही. तसंच दक्षिण कोरियात आणीबाणीच्या काळात कुठल्या नियमांची अंमलबजावणी केली जाईल हे देखील स्पष्ट केलेलं नाही.
उत्तर कोरियातील कम्युनिस्ट शक्ती आणि देश विरोधी तत्त्वं संपवण्यासाठी आम्हाला हे पाऊल उचलावं लागतं आहे. आम्ही आणीबाणीचा निर्णय घेतला आहे.
South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declared martial law in an unannounced late-night TV address Tuesday, accusing the country’s main opposition party of sympathizing with North Korea and of anti-state activities.
आणीबाणी जाहीर केल्यानंतर विरोधी पक्ष असलेल्या डेमोक्रेटिक पक्षाने त्यांच्या सदस्यांची एक तातडीची बैठक बोलावली आहे. राष्ट्रपतींनी जी घोषणा केली त्यानंतर सरकार आता काय काय नियम लादू शकते किंवा कशावर बंदी आणली जाऊ शकते या संदर्भात या बैठकीत चर्चा झाल्याचं समजतं आहे.
South Korea's President Yoon Suk Yeol on Tuesday declared emergency martial law, accusing the opposition of being "anti-state forces intent on overthrowing the regime" amid parliamentary wrangling over a budget bill.
"To safeguard a liberal South Korea from the threats posed by North Korea's communist forces and to eliminate anti-state elements plundering people's freedom and happiness, I hereby declare emergency martial law," Yoon said in a live televised address to the nation.
