अभिनेत्याने केलेल्या सोशल मिडिया पोस्टमुळे खळबळ उडाली आहे. त्याने आपल्या वैयक्तिक आयुष्याबाबत मोठा निर्णय घेतलाय. अभिनेत्याची सिने कारकीर्द यशाच्या उच्च शिखरावर असतानाच त्याने थेट निवृत्तीचा निर्णय घेतलाय. त्याने अभिनयातून ब्रेक घेत असल्याचं म्हंटल आहे.

विक्रांत मेस्सीने २००४ मध्ये 'कहां हूँ मैं' या टीव्ही शोमधून करिअरला सुरुवात केली होती. यानंतर त्याने 'धरमवीर', 'बालिका वधू' आणि 'कुबूल है' सारख्या अनेक टीव्ही शोमध्येही काम केले.

दरम्यान, छोट्या पडद्यावरील मालिकांमधून सिने इंडस्ट्रीमध्ये पाऊल ठेवणाऱ्या विक्रांतने लुटेरा (2013) या चित्रपटातून बॉलीवूडमध्ये एंट्री केली. पुढे त्याने हाफ गर्लफ्रेंड (2017), दिल धडकने दो अशा चित्रपटांत सहाय्यक भूमिका केल्या.तर, छपाक आणि गुंज मधील मुख्य भूमिकेनंतर तो सर्वांच्या नजरेत आला. हसीन दिलरुबा, डॉली किट्टी और वो चमकते सितारे. 12 th फेलअशा चित्रपटातील त्याच्या भूमिका देखील प्रसिद्ध झाल्या.अशात अभिनेत्याने थेट निवृत्तीचा निर्णय जाहीर केला आहे.

But as I move forward, I realise its time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor," he wrote.
